How do you know if your vehicle has industrial fall-out or rust?
Take the plastic wrapping off a cigarette packet; put your pointer and middle-fingers inside the foil packet and run it lightly over your vehicle. "Shocked" your vehicle has contamination which is the start of rust.
Open your doors wide and look at the hinges that hold your door in place.
Open your boot and look at the hinges and below your spare wheel.
Have you ever checked the undercarriage of your vehicle?
Driving in the rain water, mud, dirt roads and bad roads cause a buildup of sludge or pockets of mud that forms rust if not cleaned off. Stones shooting up removes the painted undersurface of your vehicle which causes rust.
If drain holes in the doors, boot and firewalls are not cleaned out, water is trapped and a build up of water will cause rust. Most vehicles are built with these vents but unfortunately it is not mentioned in a service that they must be cleaned out.
